Civilian
Yukiko enjoyed having several adults in the household while the teens were running about. It seemed that ever since she invited Kaito-kun over, her house became bustling with activity, and admittedly, she felt a bit bad for Subaru-san. Perhaps she shouldn't have come without warning? But if there was anyone to blame, it was Yuusaku and that project.
If it wasn't for that project, perhaps she'd still be sleeping in her bedroom instead of having to sleep in Shinichi's with Yuusaku just to safeguard it. It was fine when it was just Heiji-kun, Aoko-chan, Kaito-kun and Subaru-san over, but now they had more to worry about.
Nonetheless, there was yet another temporary newcomer in the Kudo household: Kazuha-chan. Yukiko had only briefly heard about her from Heiji-kun, but the fact that she came all this way to Beika City for Heiji-kun amused the retired actress.
Speaking of, didn't Aoko-chan do the same for Kaito-kun? Yukiko giggled at the thought as she made some afternoon coffee in the kitchen.
"Kazuha-chan!" Yukiko called from the kitchen, wondering if she would hear her.
