That was all that went through Heiji's mind. He was bored, beyond bored even. He could feel his brain cells slowly decaying in his mind as he no longer had mental stimulation. Of course the past few days had been crazy and all that. With rescuing Kudo from a crazy guy and almost being blown up. His head and ribs gave a sharp jolt. Reminding him of the injuries he had obtained. He had been released from the hospital this morning a few stitches in his forehead covered by a gauze pad. His ribs wrapped up tight so no further injury could come to the severely bruised, also some of the cartilage had been torn. But there could be nothing done about that besides pain medication. To be honest the latter had happened before to him so he was used to it. It was just annoying because he couldn't take in a deep breath or turn properly.
He also had some burns on his back from falling debris so he was laying on his stomach in the lounge area. A book placed on the floor beside the couch he was on and Heiji resting his chin on the top of his hand which rested on a pillow. He heard movement through out the house but it just seemed like people settling down for a relaxing evening. He also heard the pitter patter of rain falling on the roof. It seemed like a down pour if he could hear it on the first floor.
Groaning he sat up. He didn't want to read anymore. That's what he's been doing all day. So now, Heiji figured he might as well find some cards to play with. Maybe Kaito had some after all he was a magician. Hopefully the guy wouldn't mind if Heiji played Solitare with them.
Getting up from the couch Heiji headed towards the entrance. Kaito should be in his room right? Well it would probably be best to start there anyways for the guy.
